Jarod Oliver, D.D.S.
I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to improve both the appearance and function of my patients’ smiles. Orthodontics is absolutely fascinating to me, and there are few better feelings than correctly planning and delivering a treatment that makes everyone involved extremely proud. The relationships I have formed with my patients and their families are touching, and I am honored by the trust my patients have placed in me and my team. I attended the University of Texas in San Antonio for my undergraduate education and continued on at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I graduated summa cum laude and was accepted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. I stayed in San Antonio for my orthodontic residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, and served as Chief Resident. My commitment to education extends far beyond my formal education. In order to stay current with the newest and most effective orthodontic technology, I continue my education through participation in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Texas Dental Association. I am proud that both Dr. Cele and I are Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction only 15% of all orthodontist can claim.
I was born and raised in the small town of Three Rivers, Texas; however, having attended college, dental school and orthodontic residency all in San Antonio, I truly feel this is my hometown. I am married to the most talented orthodontist I know, Dr. Cele Oliver, and feel so lucky to be able to practice and live with my best friend. We have a family of little Spurs fans, including our twins, Jameson and Quinn, and two fluffy mutts.
Cele and I love to be in the outdoors and really enjoy playing golf as much as possible. We also love to travel and getting lost in our own city, seeing how many family-owned restaurants we can find. Of course, watching the Spurs, Longhorns and Cowboys keeps our schedule plenty full!
Cele Oliver, D.D.S., DHSc
Orthodontics is incredibly rewarding, and there is no better feeling in the world than seeing a patient’s smile beam when their treatment is complete! I understand that the patients I see place a great deal of trust in me, and that a beautiful smile is an investment, so I treat everyone as I would treat my own family. More often than not, my wonderful patients leave me smiling as much as they are! I truly love what I do, and I feel blessed to have formed the relationships I have while being a part of this profession.
I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin and attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. My orthodontic training was completed at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health where I was Chief Resident. I also earned my Doctorate of Health Sciences from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. After completion of my orthodontic residency, I took additional steps to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a certification that only 15% of all orthodontists have achieved.
I grew up on a small farm in Cele, Texas, and have lived in the wonderful San Antonio community since 2004. There’s no place else I’d rather be! In 2010, I married my best friend and partner, Dr. Jarod Oliver, and in 2014, we were blessed to add twins to the Oliver clan!
When I am not working, I enjoy cooking and trying new restaurants with Dr. Jarod. We love to travel, go hiking, and are enthusiastic about sports of all kinds, especially Longhorn football and cheering for the Spurs! I also volunteer with numerous San Antonio children’s organizations and Junior League of San Antonio.
