Dr. Derrick Cantu is a graduate of Texas A&M University and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. A native of Southeast Texas, Derrick along with his wife Aubrey are happy to have made San Antonio their home since 2005! Dr. Cantu graduated from Dental School at The University of Texas Health Science Center, and then continued his education for specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry there as well. Dr. Cantu is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Dr. Cantu’s research has included topics in Dental Trauma and Caries, which were presented in Toronto, Canada and New York, New York respectively. In his spare time Dr. Cantu enjoys photography. He especially enjoys catching the majesty of landscapes and architecture on film.
Dr. Cantu is extremely proud of making dental care for children his life’s work. He is devoted to promoting dental health to the city of San Antonio and is dedicated to creating an enjoyable dental experience for his patients and their parents. He is committed to being an integral part of the team for your child’s health!
